Staging Helps Define Vacant Spaces

The homes in Arlington are unique. The housing stock in Arlington does not follow a uniform pattern like you might see in a newer subdivision. Many of the homes in Arlington were built in the 1940’s. Some bungalows and farmhouses were built even earlier. Additions were put onto homes as people needed more space, perhaps an enclosed porch or a family room addition. Without furniture, the floor plans may be confusing. There may be two rooms off the kitchen. A buyer may wonder which room is the dining room. A buyer may not immediately see a use for the second room off the kitchen. Some homes have a bedroom on the main level. In a vacant home, this may be confusing to a buyer. Staging helps define the space for the buyer.

For the past twelve months or so I have been greatly assisted in the sale of
homes by Julia Stefanelli of JS Design and Photography. Julia provides
staging and interior arrangement services that enhance the appearance of
homes. She has a fine eye for choosing and coordinating colors, for the
appropriate proportions of furniture, as well as the number of pieces that a
room can accommodate in order to optimize its appeal to the prospective
buyer.....Ingrid Wooten, Top Producer, Long and Foster

Julia, thanks for everything! Your furniture placement really "Sold" the
